Grief Coach for Leaders & Organizations
Eric is a certified Solutions-Focused Coach with the International Coaching Federation.
Loss doesn't stop at the office door. When a leader loses someone, faces a cancer diagnosis, or watches their organization restructure around them — they're expected to keep showing up. To stay steady. To perform. But grief carried alone quietly erodes everything: decision making, presence, relationships, culture.
I help leaders carry loss — so they can lead again.
With an ICF certification, a Solution-Focused approach, and the lived experience of losing my partner, my mother, and facing my own cancer diagnosis within five years — I don't coach from theory. I coach from the inside of what you're navigating.
This is a space where your full humanity is not a liability. It's where we start.

Surviving Grief
Eric’s Resilience Coaching practice is rooted in personal experience. His book Surviving Grief is a sincere and heartfelt guide born from Eric’s personal journey through loss. Inspired by his volunteer work co-facilitating grief groups with the Toronto chapter of Bereaved Families of Ontario, Eric shares his story about the profound losses of his partner of 24 years, Rod, and his mother, just 11 months apart.
In sharing his journey, Eric demonstrates how connecting with others—sharing experiences and listening—can ease pain, bring comfort, and remind us that we’re not alone. However, not everyone has access to grief support or knows where to turn after losing a loved one. This book aims to bridge that gap.
Grief is a deeply personal experience, moulded by your relationship with the person, your culture, personality, and life story. With honesty and vulnerability, Surviving Grief provides practical tools, personal insights, and compassionate guidance to help you find your own way through loss. Whether you’re grieving the loss of a spouse, partner, parent, close friend, or even a beloved pet, this book offers hope, understanding, and ideas to help you move forward.
